Why it ranks where it does on Open-World PvP
Fury kills with
Bloodthirst,
Whirlwind,
Death Wish and
Recklessness, with
Cruelty,
Flurry and
Enrage on top, and Blizzard says PvP crits are no longer reduced. Control is
Piercing Howl's 6 s daze,
Hamstring, an
Intercept 3 s stun on a 20 s cooldown with
Improved Intercept,
Pummel and
Intimidating Shout.
Blood Craze,
Gore Drinker,
Victory Rush and
Berserker Rage's fear immunity are small helps, and there is no
Shield Wall in the tree. Whirlwind hits up to four, and Intimidating Shout and Death Wish help against two. Intercept every 20 s plus
Charge and Bloodthirst's +10% speed for 10 s start fights well, but it cannot leave one. Death Wish drains health, which is a risk at low health. In a group, Piercing Howl and Whirlwind work on clusters and Berserker Rage answers fear casters.
It is not B because survival and sustain are both 2, with no Shield Wall and only small heals. 3.20 is 0.05 short of B.

Why it ranks where it does on Open-World PvP Leveling
Cruelty comes at 10 and
Enrage at 25,
Flurry not before 35 (it needs
Death Wish at 30), and
Hamstring is there at 8.
Piercing Howl arrives in tier 2 at 20, and
Intercept and
Berserker Stance at 30.
Whirlwind at 36 and
Bloodthirst at 40 are past the cap.
Victory Rush at 20,
Blood Craze at about 20 and
Berserker Rage at 30 are the only defense, and nothing really heals.
Cleave at 20,
Intimidating Shout and Whirlwind at 36 are its answers to two.
Charge is a single opener until Intercept at 30, and Bloodthirst's speed comes at 40. Piercing Howl and Intimidating Shout at 22 serve crowds.
It is not C because survival and sustain are both 2, and the tools that set Fury apart, Whirlwind and Bloodthirst, come after 30. 2.65 is 0.10 short of C.

Races
The Warrior’s races as Races PvP ranks them, best first.
Alliance
Human:
Will to Survive is the only full stun break in the game, and
Ruthless and
Perception add steady crit and stealth detection.
Dwarf:
Stoneform is the strongest defensive racial of any race, and the widest class choice helps, but burst and mobility are the weakest.
Night Elf:
Shadowmeld, extra stealth and speed give the joint best mobility of any race, and
Elune's Light is a crit burst, but it breaks nothing.
Gnome:
Escape Artist breaks roots and slows and its burst racial adds +10% damage, but Gnome lacks defense, mobility and class choice.
Skyborne (High Order):
Wind Blessed gives steady haste, but High Order has no control break, no defensive and only a glide for mobility.
Horde
Undead:
Will of the Forsaken breaks fear and charm and
Touch of the Grave drains in combat, but it has the weakest burst and no mobility.
Orc:
Blood Fury is the strongest burst cooldown of any race, and
Hardiness and
Shatter Curse give some breaks and defense, but no mobility.
Tauren:
War Stomp and
Plainsrunning give the best mobility and
Endurance adds health, but it breaks nothing and has the weakest burst.
Skyborne (Windshaper):
Wind Blessed gives steady haste and
Skysight a 30 second sprint, but it has no control break and no defensive.
Troll:
Berserking is a burst for seven classes, but Troll has no control break or mobility and
Rapid Regeneration works out of combat.
What we don’t know yet
At 60
Rated on assumptions:
- Everything at level 60 is projected from client data and the spec's own talent tree; nobody has played past the beta cap of 30.
Bloodthirst at 40 and
Whirlwind are client data and the own tree, not played.
Improved Intercept's 20 s cooldown is from the own tree.- Diminishing returns on stuns, fears and silences are not documented for Forever.
What would move it: Level-60 play showing whether
Death Wish costs more health than it wins, or Forever's hit cap showing dual wield is hard to keep up.
While leveling
Rated on assumptions:
- Levels past the beta cap of 30 are projected from client data and the spec's own talent tree; nobody has played past 30.
Whirlwind at 36 and
Bloodthirst at 40 are client data and the own tree, not played.
Flurry at 35, after
Death Wish, is past the beta cap and projected from the own tree.
What would move it: Play past 30 showing
Whirlwind at 36 and
Bloodthirst at 40 arriving as projected and carrying fights.
