About WoW Forever DB

How the guides are written

Spell levels, ranks and the talent trees come from the beta client's own data (build 1.60.1.70425). Builds, rotations, routes and advice are our own, checked against Blizzard's posts and patch notes and tested in the beta where we can.

Each guide describes its class as it plays now. What changed on the way, patch by patch, is on the class's changes page.

How sure is each claim?

Outlined labels say how sure a claim is:

• Live in beta in a beta build, with its date
• Announced Blizzard said so; not in a build yet
• Unconfirmed in client data or one guide only
• Rumoured no primary source
• Classic Classic Era behaviour no Forever source confirms or contradicts

What this site does not show

Spell and talent tooltips, costs and rank text are not reproduced: read them in game. What you read here is spell names, levels and tree positions (facts about the game) and our own notes.
