Every mistake report is read. Here is what helps us fix one fast.
Report a mistake
Write to corrections@wowfdb.com with:
- the page: its address, or the guide and section;
- what the page says;
- what you saw in game instead, with the client build if you know it (it is on the login screen).
If you came here from a page's “Report a mistake” link, this page's address ends with the page you came from: copy it into your note.
Which report is which
- A wrong number, spell or talent
- Say the rank and level you saw it at. A screenshot of the tooltip settles it fastest.
- A quest, drop or location
- Say where you were and, for a drop, how many kills it took.
- A tier list placement
- Say which list and why, from play: the lists weigh evidence, not votes.
- A broken page or link
- Say the page, your browser and what you clicked.
When you will hear back
We read every report. A mistake we can confirm is fixed in the next release of the site, usually within a week. One that needs checking in game waits until we can check it; we write back if you gave an address.
