Westfall
A farming region once central to Stormwind's food supply, now troubled by the Defias Brotherhood and gnolls.
Overview
Westfall, once Stormwind's farming heartland, is a land of fallow fields where the Westfall Brigade defends Sentinel Hill. Defias bandits, Riverpaw gnolls and harvest golems threaten what remains of its farms.

Lore
The Defias began as Stormwind stonemasons who were never paid for rebuilding the city. Their guildmaster Edwin VanCleef protested, the nobles disbanded the guild, and riots followed. The masons fled to Westfall and turned to banditry under VanCleef.
VanCleef made the Deadmines beneath Moonbrook his base and hired Riverpaw gnolls as thugs. Harvest golems, which the Defias built or reprogrammed after goblins joined them, hunted the region's citizens, and years of war, neglect and Defias rule left the fields fallow.
