A wide, grassy highland of mesas and rivers, ancestral home of the tauren and their city of Thunder Bluff.
Overview
Mulgore is open grassland broken by tall mesas, with Bloodhoof Village and Thunder Bluff among its tauren settlements. The tauren defend it against hostile quillboar, harpies, gnolls and Venture Co. miners, and the grasslands teem with wild beasts.

Lore
Mulgore is the ancestral home of the tauren, a people who see themselves as children of the Earth Mother. Centaur have long claimed the grasslands, and the tauren have fought them for it.
When Thrall's orcs landed on Kalimdor, the nomadic tauren met them and found kindred spirits. With the orcs' help, Cairne Bloodhoof's tribe drove back the centaur, and the tauren were brought back into the Horde. Cairne then built a refuge for his people on the windswept mesa of Thunder Bluff.
