Dustwallow Marsh
A damp swampland home to Theramore and the lair of Onyxia, with the Horde's Brackenwall Village across the water.
Overview
Dustwallow Marsh is a swampy region where the Alliance city of Theramore faces the Horde's Brackenwall Village, a stronghold founded by Stonemaul ogres. Murlocs and bog beasts roam the marsh, and the black dragonflight dwells in its south.
Alcaz Island (level 61)sits well outside the rest of the zone and is left out of its range.

Lore
Jaina Proudmoore led her people here after the Battle of Mount Hyjal and founded Theramore as a city-state. Her father, Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, raided orc settlements in Durotar, withdrew to Theramore Isle, and was slain there in a battle against the Horde while Jaina sided against him.
The marsh also holds Onyxia's Lair, a fiery cave below the Dragonmurk. Onyxia, a black dragon and daughter of Deathwing, once posed as the Stormwind noblewoman Katrana Prestor until she was unmasked.
