Deadwind Pass
A bleak mountain pass dominated by the tower of Karazhan, once the home of Medivh, the last Guardian of Tirisfal.
Overview
Deadwind Pass links Duskwood to the west with the Swamp of Sorrows to the east, and Karazhan looms over it. Ghosts, wraiths, other undead and Deadwind ogres haunt the pass.

Lore
Karazhan was reportedly built in secret by Aegwynn as a refuge and a conduit for ley lines. Medivh later lived there as the last Guardian of Tirisfal.
Sargeras possessed Medivh during the First War. When Medivh died, fel energy blighted the land and cursed the tower.
