You get one talent point per level from 10. A tier opens after 5 points in the tiers above it in the same tree, and a talent joined by a line to one above it needs that one maxed first.

This 1–60 path matches the level-30 shape of Deadly Aspects first, Summon Hawk at 25, Intimidation at 30, and the "beside a healer" order to 30. Solo, take Improved Revive Pet instead of Focused Fire; alternatively, start with Endurance Training 5 instead of Deadly Aspects. With the Talented legacy perk every step comes up to five levels sooner.

Level-30 build: Deadly Aspects, Pathfinding and Improved Revive Pet first, Summon Hawk at 25, Intimidation at 30. Focused Fire is the strongest DPS talent available for the flexible points; beside a healer, swap Improved Revive Pet 2 for Focused Fire 2 (the levelling order's shape). For up to 5 extra Legacy points: finish Ferocity 5, then Bestial Discipline 2 and Frenzy 1. Alternatively, take Deadly Aspects 5, Endurance Training 1, Focused Fire 2, Pathfinding 2, Bestial Swiftness 1, Unleashed Fury 5, Ferocity 3, Summon Hawk 1, Bestial Discipline 1 (no Intimidation, no Improved Revive Pet). The build maxes Unleashed Fury, which raises pet damage. Order: the Beast Mastery levelling order above, keeping this build's talents; Improved Revive Pet, which that order skips, go in where the tree allows.
