Lore
Sorcerer-Thane Thaurissan led the Dark Iron dwarves in the War of the Three Hammers. Hoping to turn the war, he and seven of his most trusted dwarves called on ancient powers sleeping beneath the world.
What answered was the Firelord Ragnaros, far more terrible than they expected. The Dark Iron capital was reduced to rubble when Blackrock Mountain erupted, and the Dark Iron clan now serves Ragnaros.
The Thorium Brotherhood, skilled craftsmen who broke away from the Dark Iron clan, built Thorium Point and keep close watch on their former kin.
