Enhancement Shaman: Macros

Keys for Enhancement, ready to paste into the game's macro window: the spec's own, then the ones every Shaman shares.

Type /macro in chat to open the macro window, make a new macro, and paste the body in. #showtooltip gives the button the spell's icon. A macro holds 255 characters. Each says whether it has been tested in WoW Forever; most have not yet.

A good first macro

Stormstrike, Earth Shock when it is cooling downFrom level 25

Press once per global cooldown: Stormstrike when ready, otherwise Earth Shock into the damage window. It also starts your swings. Untested

Spend Stormstrike on a shock or a boltFrom level 32

Flame Shock while you keep swingingFrom level 10

Puts on Flame Shock and keeps your swings going; Ctrl swaps in Earth Shock. Use it between Stormstrikes. Untested

Windfury normally, Shift Flametongue, Ctrl Frostbrand, Alt Rockbiter; the cursor then asks for a weapon, so click your main hand. There is no off-hand to imbue. Untested

Earth Shock rank 1 interruptFrom level 4

Interrupts the caster under your cursor, or your target; Ctrl aims at your focus. Rank 1 costs the least mana and locks the spell school for the same two seconds. It cancels your own cast even if Earth Shock is on cooldown. Untested

Grounding Totem, Ctrl for TremorFrom level 30

Grounding Totem takes one hostile spell and is destroyed by it; Ctrl drops Tremor Totem against fear and charm instead. Drop it before the caster starts, because it cannot catch a spell that has landed. Untested

Call of the Elements, Alt for Totemic RecallFrom level 20

Drops your whole totem set from the Totem Bar in one press; Alt picks the totems back up and returns some mana. Fill the Totem Bar first, because the call only drops what is set there. Untested

Call of the Ancestors, Shift for SpiritsFrom level 40

Drops the Call of the Ancestors set, or the Call of the Spirits set with Shift. Each set needs its own totems chosen on the Totem Bar. Untested

Totems before level 20From level 10

Drops Stoneskin Totem, then Searing Totem on the next press. It only helps until you learn Call of the Elements, which does the same in one press. Untested

Purge or Cure PoisonFrom level 16

Aimed at an enemy it purges a beneficial effect; aimed at a friend, or at nothing, it cures poison on you. The enemy has to be selected, because the cursor is not read. Untested
