Deadmines
Eight bosses among goblin and pirate groups, where marking and crowd control matter more than tricks.
Rhahk'Zor
Tank: a big ogre with two Defias Watchmen who shoot from range; mark the watchmen and build threat fast. Healer: watch early healing threat while the tank gathers the adds. Damage: kill the watchmen first. Everyone: the slam stuns, so do not let the healer take it.
In short: watchmen first, then the ogre.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Damage plus a stun. |
Sneed
Tank: Sneed drives a shredder; destroy it and he climbs out. Hold the shredder, then taunt Sneed and use attacks that do not need a weapon, because he disarms. Healer: heal the tank and watch for casting delays. Damage: clear the goblin woodcarvers in the room, break the shredder, then kill Sneed. Everyone: the goblin side room should be cleared first.
In short: break the shredder, taunt Sneed, ignore his disarm.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Slows the target's casting. | |
| Removes the target's weapon for a while. |
Miner Johnson
Tank: a rare humanoid past Rhahk'Zor's door, not always present. Healer: heal the tank. Damage: burn him while watching threat. Everyone: nothing special.
In short: optional and plain.

Gilnid
Tank: his room is full of goblin adds, so clear at least one side before pulling him. His Molten Metal burns and slows and cuts the tank's threat. Healer: over-heal the tank while it is active. Damage: kill adds before the boss and avoid pulling more. Everyone: do not engage the crowded room all at once.
In short: clear the room, then handle the debuff.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Fire damage over time that slows movement and attacks. |
Captain Greenskin
Tank: easy to pull by accident, which wipes groups; mark his four escorts. Healer: manage mana while damage dealers handle the adds. Damage: kill escorts before him. Everyone: do not step on him from the ship's edge.
In short: mark the adds, then kill him last.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| None listed | - |
Mr. Smite
Tank: two Blackguards wait stealthed beside him, so mark them; the fight has three phases, and the second makes him dual-wield and hit much harder, so save defensive cooldowns. Healer: mana is the issue; the tank takes far more in phase two. Damage: kill both Blackguards before engaging him. Everyone: expect stun windows when he stomps between phases.
In short: kill the guards, save cooldowns for phase two.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Smite Stomp | The stun that marks a phase change. |
| Smite's Dual Wield Passive | Lets him fight with two weapons. |
Cookie
Tank: optional ship cook; build threat. Healer: tank-and-spank. Damage: interrupt Cookie's
Cooking, which heals him. Everyone: his wand is a prized drop for casters.
In short: interrupt his cooking.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Heals him. |
Edwin VanCleef
Tank: two Blackguards stand beside him, and two more arrive at half health with his call for help; take the first pair and hold them. Healer: it is a long fight, so mind the mana. Damage: kill the first pair, then burn VanCleef when the second set arrives and ignore or control them. Everyone: do not pull Captain Greenskin and VanCleef together, which kills groups.
In short: first adds down, then burst him, control the second adds.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| VanCleef's Allies | Calls more Defias to help at half health. |
