Explore the New Dungeons of World of Warcraft: Forever
Blizzard's dungeon guide maps all nine of WoW Forever's new dungeons, from The Hall of Thanes under Ironforge to Shaper's Terrace in Un'Goro Crater. Six are in the Eastern Kingdoms and three in Kalimdor. City of Dalaran needs a faction questline before you can enter, The Drowned City's entrance is under water, and two of the dungeons sit deep in the other faction's territory.

Where each dungeon is
Eastern Kingdoms: The Hall of Thanes (13-18) lies beneath Ironforge in Dun Morogh; Ruins of Lordaeron (15-20) is the ruined city above the Undercity in Tirisfal Glades; Excavation Site: Wetlands (24-29) is near Thelgen Rock and Dun Algaz, past Whelgar's Excavation; City of Dalaran (28-33) is in the Alterac Mountains; The Drowned City (35-40) rises from the sea off Stranglethorn Vale, west of Grom'gol; and Krol'dok Stronghold (40-45) is in the Riverglades.
Kalimdor: Alcaz Prison (48-53) is on Alcaz Island in Dustwallow Marsh, Blackmaw Hold (55-60) is in Azshara, and Shaper's Terrace (58-60) is in the northern hills of Un'Goro Crater.
Getting in
Two dungeons favour one faction. The Hall of Thanes is an easy trip from inside Ironforge for the Alliance, while the Horde has to cross into Alliance territory; Ruins of Lordaeron is the reverse, close to the Undercity and a journey into Horde land for the Alliance.
City of Dalaran has an attunement questline. Alliance players start it with "An Alarming Request" from Emissary Jacques in Southshore; Horde players start with "Key to the City" and "Prison Break-In" from Magus Wordeen Voidglare in Tarren Mill. Once the Kirin Tor trust you, the group goes in through the sewers.
The Drowned City's entrance is below the water, so you dive to reach it.
What sets them apart
City of Dalaran offers several paths and encounters on the way through the city. The Drowned City is open to the sky, and its weather worsens from mist and rain to a full storm before the last fight. Krol'dok Stronghold is a large ogre fortress with workshops, camps and guarded passages inside. Blackmaw Hold is a furbolg city behind a gate in Azshara that has long been closed, a large max-level dungeon with several routes and bosses, and Blizzard hints its depths lead farther down. At Shaper's Terrace, power crystals you gather across Un'Goro Crater are used at consoles in the dungeon.
Who you meet
Dark Iron dwarves are the suspected intruders in The Hall of Thanes, and Ruins of Lordaeron has a necromancer and the Scourge. Excavation Site: Wetlands has titan constructs and wildlife, The Drowned City trolls and naga, Krol'dok Stronghold ogres, and Alcaz Prison the Defias Brotherhood fighting naga. Blackmaw Hold's furbolgs face a spreading corruption, and Shaper's Terrace mixes dinosaurs with titan machinery.
