Arms Warrior: Rotation
The Arms priorities, top to bottom: use the first one that applies.
Level 60 (projected)
Battle Shout kept up.
Bloodrage on cooldown for rage.
Rend kept on the target for Bloodthrill.
Overpower on a Bloodthrill proc or a dodge (Battle Stance).
Mortal Strike on cooldown.
Whirlwind on cooldown (Berserker Stance).
Slam after a swing, on cooldown.
Heroic Strike with excess rage.
Spearing Strike against Dragonkin and Giants (Battle Stance).
Packs
Sweeping Strikes first, in Battle Stance: your next 5 hits also strike a second target.
Thunder Clap for the slow and damage on up to 4 enemies.
Cleave as the rage dump instead of Heroic Strike.
Demoralizing Shout to cut the pack's damage; it puts some threat on every enemy it hits.
Whirlwind from 36, in Berserker Stance.
Cooldowns and emergencies
Retaliation 15-minute cooldown: when several enemies are hitting you in melee.
Intimidating Shout to scatter a pack that is going wrong (they may run into more mobs).
Berserker Rage from 30: break or prevent a fear, and gain rage when hit.
Recklessness from 50, every 30 minutes: save it for a boss's last 20%.
Hamstring on a runner: you have no other slow in Arms.
While leveling
Battle Shout between pulls, with Bloodrage for starting rage.
Charge to open: 9 rage (12 from level 26) and a short stun.
Rend early, unless the target will die soon. It tags the mob to you and enables Bloodthrill procs.
Victory Rush whenever it lights up after a kill: free damage and 10% of your health.
Overpower on every dodge or Bloodthrill proc.
Slam right after a swing, once you have rage to spare (18-second cooldown).
Spearing Strike as a rage dump, or on cooldown against Giants and Dragonkin.
Heroic Strike only with rage left over; it replaces your next swing.
Execute Skip it while levelling; it costs all your rage.
