Levels 10–30 follow the level-30 Frost order. From 31: Frost Channeling for mana, Ice Barrier as soon as it opens at 40, then Winter's Chill and the kiting talents (Permafrost, Arctic Reach, Improved Frost Nova, Improved Blizzard). It ends as a 0/3/48 levelling build, not a raid build; see the Frost view for those. With the Talented legacy perk every step comes up to five levels sooner.

Frost: Improved Frostbolt 5, Elemental Precision 2, Ice Shards 5, Frostbite 3, Ice Lance 1, Ice Block 1, Shatter 3, Fingers of Frost 1

Level-30 Frost build: Frostbite freezes and Fingers of Frost feed Ice Lance, and Ice Shards and Shatter make it crit hard. Alternatively, skip Ice Block for Elemental Precision 4, Arctic Reach 2 and Cold Snap (26 points with Talented), or take Piercing Ice 3 instead of Frostbite and Ice Block. With Talented, add Piercing Ice 3, Cold Snap and a point of Winter's Chill. A further variant, not a replacement: Elemental Precision 3 and Improved Frostbolt 2 first (Improved Frostbolt 5 only with Talented), Ice Shards 5, Piercing Ice 2, Shatter 3, Ice Block, Fingers of Frost 1; three more Improved Frostbolt points are stronger until level 20. Order: the Frost levelling order above, keeping this build's talents.
