World of Warcraft: Forever - Creator Showcase | BlizzCon 2026
Summary
At BlizzCon, Blizzard showed the Dalaran and Drowned City dungeons while five creators played them. Dalaran is Alliance-only and opens once its dungeon is cleared, while the Drowned City is a level 35 to 40 troll dungeon off Stranglethorn's coast. Most of the near-two-hour stream is gameplay; developers also covered immunities, a personal
Shaman Bloodlust and the BlizzCon-era Hot Streak design, which a later beta build reworked.
Highlights
- Dalaran city is for the Alliance only and is unlocked by finishing the Dalaran dungeon, which is non-linear and can be run as a fast twenty-minute trip or taken slowly.
- The Violet Citadel's doors are open in Forever, with a Skyborne-only area overlooking Lordamere Lake where the Skyborne skyship lands.
- Immunities are taken seriously: arcane enemies take no Arcane damage, fire elementals take no Fire damage, and mechanical creatures and elementals cannot bleed.
- The Drowned City is an all-new dungeon for levels 35 to 40, a troll city raised from the sea off western Stranglethorn, and its shark is level 45.
Enhancement
Shamans get a personal Bloodlust as a 31-point talent, kept off the party because a group-wide version would make Shamans too required.- A developer said the BlizzCon-era Hot Streak was a stacking buff, up to three times, that shortens
Pyroblast's cast, because Classic has too little crit for the old two-in-a-row rule; that design was reworked in a later beta build.
