World of Warcraft: Forever - Deep Dive | BlizzCon 2026

Watch it on Blizzard's World of Warcraft channel

Summary

Blizzard's BlizzCon Deep Dive covers camping, transmog, Legacy, realmless rulesets, itemization, racial changes and the Paladin talent rework. Developers describe camp sites where nearby players share crafted buffs, more than 600 new recipes and an opt-in transmog system. Legacy points are shared across characters, with 16 spendable per character at launch, and players pick a ruleset instead of a realm. Items get a large overhaul, with hit and crit merged and no Resilience, and every talent tree gains a fourth one-point talent at 16 points. The Paladin section describes Holy Strike, Seal of Fury and a Consecration that hits four targets hard.

Highlights

  • Camp sites give vendors, repairs and a one-hour buff, with up to three crafted objects per camp, one from each player.
  • More than 600 new recipes; almost all crafted food gives a stat boost and a small XP buff.
  • Transmog is optional, a classic preset hides other players' looks, and uncommon and rare bind-on-pickup dungeon drops unlock their look for every eligible looter.
  • Legacy: 16 points can be spent per character at launch, up to 65 can be earned, and the points are shared across your characters.
  • Choose Normal, PvP or Roleplaying instead of a realm, with Hardcore after launch; names are unique per region and have two parts.
  • Hit and crit are one stat each, weapon skill stays but gives less per item, and Resilience is not added.
