Launch Dungeons | World of Warcraft: Forever
Summary
Blizzard's launch-dungeons video says Forever opens with nine new dungeons and walks through three of them. Those are the Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron and Excavation Site: Wetlands. It also says nearly every Vanilla dungeon gets updated rewards and more quest experience. The Hall of Thanes is the first dungeon open to Alliance characters, and Dalaran's dungeon is entered through its sewers.
Highlights
- The Hall of Thanes lies under Ironforge's throne room, is the Alliance's counterpart to Ragefire Chasm, and its first boss is Faldrim Anvilmar.
- Ruins of Lordaeron plays almost entirely outdoors and ends with the necromancer Rath'mael.
- Excavation Site: Wetlands sends a group across open water and through tall grass full of stealthed raptors.
- Entering Dalaran means going in through its sewers, since the Kirin Tor do not yet trust outsiders.
- Nearly every Vanilla dungeon is refreshed, with updated rewards and increased quest experience.
